Showcase Sunday #3

Inspired by Celine from Nyx Book Reviews, I've decided to combine several book haul memes into one post. Welcome to... Stacking the Showcase Sunday Post Shelves with Letterbox Love!

Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vicky at Books, Biscuits and Tea. Stacking the Shelves is hosted at Tynga's Reviews, and Sunday Post is hosted at Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. Letterbox Love is a special British book-haul meme hosted by Lindsey at Narratively Speaking.

Extra, Extra! Read All About Fantasyland!

I've been writing for a new site called Fantasyland Herald. This is basically a newspaper for a fictional land that represents the typical fantasy world. Through the news stories, opinion pieces, images and reports, you can get a sense of wider story arcs and a magical world.

There are recurring characters and regular reporters. The site updates daily so you can follow the story in real time. There's also plenty of palace gossip and fashion, bickering nobles in the Royal City, and disgruntled correspondents who resent being sent to foreign lands. There's even fantasy sport! It's a lot fun - come take a look!

    1. Hehe, I know the feeling - when everyone's talking about a book and you're not sure it's your kind of thing but it's got such good praise that you think you should give it a try anyway! Happened to me with a few books, but often you do end up being surprised, which is nice. :-)
